Laksa Upreti from Uttarakhand, India is a journalism student and a poet at heart. Currently she is pursuing her bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication from Graphic Era Hill University, Haldwani to live out her dream of being a journalist. 

There is another side to her that is artistically driven towards meters, imagery and verses. That side of her aspires to be a poet. She usually doesn't believe in sticking to a genre but her best works are often thought provoking and motivational. Her recent achievement was representing her state at the Nation Youth Parliament Festival 2024.
