A.M. Wilson was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. He has written poems, short stories, and essays. He self-published his debut book of poetry From the Cradle to the Casket in 2023, which is available on Amazon, and select Barnes & Noble stores. He also has several publications in the literary journal Quill & Scope at New York Medical College in the releases Turbulence (2024) and Pulse (2025).

 

His latest book "Before I Shut My Eyes: Collected Poems" (2026) is now available on Amazon in paperback.


He is a co-founder of the Trident Poetry Collective, previously served as a contributing editor, and then as the Managing Editor for the 2025 release of With Gritted Teeth. He has appeared in the chapbooks: The Horrors (2023), Lives in Motion (2023), The Heartbreaks (2024), and Outside Voices (2024).

 

A.M. recently won second place in the Eastern Division of the 2025 Massachusetts Poetry Olympics Competition and the Villanelle category. He also placed third in the Elegy category for the same competition.

 

In February and March 2026, A.M. appeared on Boston GBH's "Outspoken Saturdays" to perform some of his poetry. The February edition is now available on YouTube.


Outside of writing, A.M. is a published musician under the name “Aerospace Toolshed” and creates ambient and electronic sounds. He now has five albums with his most recent one titled “Music for Psychotic Episodes”, which is now available on all major streaming platforms.
