"I invite listeners and readers to embark on a journey through a world shaped by a perspective that is both introspective and universal. My love for writing developed secondary to my love for reading at around the age of 9 or 10. For years, teachers told me I had a gift with words, but I wasn't quite sure what they meant. In 2005, just a few days before my high school graduation, I welcomed my first baby girl. From this point on, I was fully immersed in the world of motherhood. This shift unknowingly caused me to put my creativity on hold as I focused on parenting and navigating the ups and downs of life. By 2017, with three beautiful children who were now older, more independent, and mature, I reached a turning point. Not only did the writer within me reawaken, but a passionate spoken word artist also emerged, and has been here to stay ever since."
