Carla Mellor is a Wigan-based Yorkshire poet who writes 'poetry for the people'; accessible, down to earth, and relatable poems for the everyday.

​Carla has worked on commissions for charity campaigns and for the BBC and is the 2023 Huddersfield Literature Festival slam champion. Her debut poetry collection SCRAPS was published in 2021.
