Isabelle P Byrne is an award winning short film director and published poet whose work focuses on identity, mental health, sociological thinking and nihilist thought. Pandora's Ruin published by Bent Key Publishing, is sold with Waterstones and was chosen to be apart of the British Library selection of 2022 and is apart of the Oxford and Cambridge University archives. 

Isabelle P Byrne’s debut book Pandora’s Ruin is a mythological journey through mental illness and navigating a ruined identity in recovery. Isabelle P. Byrne is a regular performer in the Manchester spoken word scene along with performing at several festivals such as Moovin’ Festival, GM Fringe, Ludlow Fringe and more. She has been interviewed and had her poetry broadcast on BBC Radio Mcr, BBC Upload, Hannah’s Bookshelf (North Manchester FM), The Sunday Tea Show (All FM),Spoken Label (Andy N’s podcast), Like I Care About… (mental health podcast), Big Issue North, Manchester and written pieces for Mind.

 Isabelle P Byrne is also an award winning director of poetry films, having been selected for international film festivals and winning awards for her visual poetry. Isabelle P. Byrne’s short films have gained international acclaim. Winning awards for Best Director and Best Poetry Film.
