Janaya Foster, also known as “Myraklez” is a hard of hearing author of "Witnessing Myraklez" poet, praise dancer, a substitute teacher, and an advocate within the autism and hearing impaired community. She has taught ballet, tap and praise dance to youth outside of and within her church community. Janaya has written poetry since she was thirteen years old. She has transitioned from a quiet dancer to a spoken word artist who enjoys sharing with others her expressions of hurt, pain, and healing. She receives her inspirations from other human beings who have disabilities as well.

She is an artist living her life to the fullest. She has performed her poetry in New York City, London, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Maryland,
