Jasmine Rosario, artistically known as JRose, is a Spoken Word Artist from Queens, NY, who began performing poetry at 16 and hasn't stopped since. She is the founder of The Rose Garden Events, a performance based platform that has been providing a safe space for the creative community since 2018. She has won several poetry slams across the U.S. and in 2023, JRose became the BRIC Brooklyn Grand Slam Finals champion. In a full circle moment, JRose is currently hosting the Nuyorican Poets Cafe Poetry Slam.

JRose has featured on stages across the U.S. like Write About Now (WAN), Busboys and Poets, Poetry Me Please, and Voices in Power to name a few. Her consistent work has led her to collaboration opportunities with brands such as Samsung, Boost Mobile, and Martingale Cognac. She is the recipient of the "Most Supportive Poet", in 2024 presented by Voice in Power.

When JRose isn't burning up stages, she is sharing the magic of creative writing and performance poetry with youths as a freelance teaching artist. She has taught in several schools from elementary to college, as well as several New York Public Library and Queens Public Library branches. One of her most impactful teaching work happens with youth and incarcerated women at Rikers Island where she provides a creative outlet for them to express their frustrations and self reflect as a form of restorative art. Her role as a mentor inside and outside the creative community has impacted the lives of many.

She is the first poet to be signed to the First Generation Rich label owned by Hip Hop artist Skyzoo. In 2024, she released her debut album and a self published poetry book, both titled, "Pieces of My Crumbled Thoughts". JRose continues to write, perform and teach as a mission to empower others to #KeepGrowing.
