Ris (she/they) is a poet and artist from Anaheim, California. They have spent much of their life writing, illustrating, and creating in a variety of capacities. Relatively new to the world of spoken word, she has competed in slams in LA and Orange County, learning from the vibrant poetry community as she grows her writing and performance craft.

Her work draws inspiration from her belief in the principles of radical love and feral disobedience as she seeks to embrace the both/and that lives within and between each of us. She is currently a member of the Orange County Poetry Slam Team.
