An inspiring poet and Obsidian has been writing and performing poetry for ten years. Obsidian has been published in anthropologies produced by MICA and Author of her own poetry book “All My Poems Sad As Fuck”. She is Baltimore’s 2019 Youth Poet Laureate. Obsidian was ranked 10th woman poet in the world in 2023. Winner of Brave New Voices an international youth grand slam championship and a former member of BCYPT the Baltimore City Youth Poetry Team. Obsidian is the current Cannabis Poet Laureate of Maryland. She is currently on the Baltimore Adult Slam Team Slammagedon. She loves writing and sharing her story with others and hopes she can inspire the people in her community to look with in and create without hesitation.
