Scar_Poetry alias Priscar Njeri  is a passionate poet whose work delves into themes of womanhood, humanity, love, war, politics, social justice, identity, and authenticity. Writing has always been her refuge, a way to make peace with the complexities of the world and envision a brighter future for all.

With a unique blend of storytelling, empathy, humour, and poetic prose, she has earned recognition in the poetry community, winning the Slam Africa poetry competitions and securing second place in the Women’s Slam Kenya.

Greatly influenced by women and indigenous poets, Scar_Poetry hopes to inspire readers to embrace their authentic selves and cultivate compassion for others. She hopes her poetry inspires a greater sense of care for one another and serves as a reminder of our shared humanity.

Currently, she is preparing to publish her work and launch her YouTube channel @ Scar_Poetry, where she will continue to amplify voices and share her vision. Ultimately, Scar_Poetry wishes to be remembered as someone who spoke up for the voiceless and championed the importance of caring for one another.
