After graduating from Rutgers University he performed and conducted workshops in schools, theaters & colleges for all ages & demographics around the world with The Mayhem Poets. Scott’s talents have brought him to nearly all 50 states, throughout Canada, England, Ireland and most recently the International Poetry Festival in Rotterdam, Netherlands. 

Having appeared in a few poetry PSAs on Mental Health, Scottt thrives on crafting commissioned performance poems for parties, galas and special events (Jack London Foundation, Purina's Better With Pets Summit, FIAT, The CDC, etc) and is sought after for his fresh take on classic poems and speeches with a modern twist. 

In 2023, Scott relocated to Miami as a Stay At Poem Dad, spending the better part of last year at home writing, caring for his cat, Vanna White, and helping to raise his son. He has only recently resumed touring and begun working as a teaching artist with Arts 4 Learning in Florida with a goal of reaching hundreds of schools over the next two years. 

He is the author of an award winning compilation of sonnets, Sconnettts, a book on plants, the all-age writing workbook, MetaVerses, The Everything Bagel and Stay At Home Dad.
