Taru Marcellus is a paladin: educator, poet and author. He published his first book Die or Live Trying in 2020. In 2023 Taru embarked on a solo cross-country cycling tour from New Orleans, Louisiana to Seattle, Washington. During his journey he graced countless stages sharing his gift of poetry nationwide. He currently hosts a monthly open mic at Bloombars (N.W. DC).
