Yerkezhan (Zhan!) (they/he) is a Swiss-Kazakh poet, who recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BA in English and Creative Writing. His poetry addresses topics of identity, queerness, gender, heartbreak and mental health. They were a part of the winning team representing Birmingham in the UniSlam Competitions 2023.
